Ce carburant est-il compatible avec mes moteurs ?
Le carburant XTL/BLT RE peut être utilisé dans tous les moteurs Diesel lourds et légers existants, sans qu'il soit nécessaire de modifier le moteur, sans avoir recours à de nouvelles infrastructures, sans avoir besoin d'investir dans un véhicule neuf.
Il est particulièrement bien placé pour réduire les émissions des moteurs lourds : c'est là que les avantages du carburant sont les plus importants par rapport au diesel conventionnel. XTL/BLT RE convient donc dans le secteur des transports et également dans le secteur maritime, pour les véhicules utilitaires urbains, les transports publics, le rail et la navigation intérieure et offshore, entre autres. Il convient également aux engins de chantier et aux équipements de production d'électricité.

Le diesel 2.0 vu par WV
Ce regain d’intérêt envers le diesel est dû aux nouveaux moteurs TDI livrés en juin dernier et capable d’ingurgiter du gazole paraffinique (du carburant synthétique, pour simplifier la chose) conformément à la norme européenne EN 15940, qui réglemente tout ce qui concerne l’utilisation de bio-composants au sein des carburants.
Grâce à l’utilisation de ces « nouveaux diesel », les émissions de CO2 sont 70 à 95 % inférieures à celles d’un diesel normal. Des valeurs qui, combinées à celles d’une flotte entièrement électrique, aideront le groupe Volkswagen à atteindre son objectif de réduction des émissions tel que défini dans son plan “Way to Zero”, qui vise à rendre l’ensemble du groupe neutre en carbone d’ici 2050.
